In August 2016 Lenovo launched their "Difference Makers" campaign. Their goal was to increase awareness and engagement among IT pros as well as create a hub within Spiceworks where content, posts, and events could be posted.
The solution we created was the Difference Makers Lounge. The homepage, in addition to linking the other three tabs, also links to a Featured Project, celebrating an IT Pro who we felt made a difference. On the Discussion tab, we utilized a recently-introduced feature to the Spiceworks Community to aggregate all posts using the phrase "Difference Makers". The Resources tab features videos, ebooks, and other content in a modular design so that it can be easily updated on a regular basis. The Events tab features sales, events, and contests both on Spiceworks and Lenovo's site.
After the concept was decided on, I executed the piece from wireframes to development. The site is still active today and consistently updated with new content.
